Spider plants are adaptable, beginner friendly plants that also act as wonderful statement pieces in homes. They are best known for their air purifying abilities. Display your plant on your desk, on a mantle, or even hang it up!

Tradescantia fluminensis 'Nanouk' are known for their vibrantly colored leaves and are perfect for any level of plant enthusiast. They are perfect plants for a pop of color in your home!

The Big Challenge
We aim to design an interactive kiosk to be placed at a large and diverse plant nursery in order to provide customers easy access to plant care information and allow them to easily browse through plants.
How might we help plant customers easily find and learn about plants through an interactive kiosk experience?

Guiding you from selection to care, all in one place.
Our kiosk offers personalized plant recommendations—helping customers feel confident and less overwhelmed without needing to ask staff.

From Confusion to Clarity
We identified confusion around pet-friendly filters, redundant quiz results, and unclear save functions. In response, we updated icons, refined survey outputs, and clarified labels to improve usability.
Final Prototype
Try it out for yourself!
Conclusion
Our kiosk made plant shopping easier through a guided quiz and simple, intuitive design.
Through this project, we gained hands-on experience with the full design process—thanks to the guidance of our TAs and Professor Rill.
